CLASS 34 INHJA MINI MEDAL Class Entry Fee $30.00
Open to all junior and amateur riders who are current members of INHJA. No cross entry into INHJA Medal and this class at the same show. Application for INHJA membership may be made at any INHJA-approved show. Riders will first be required to show over a course of not less than eight (8) obstacles of which six (6) must be set at the maximum 2’9” height. The course must include one change of direction. The judge shall select a minimum of eight (8) riders, if available, from the over fences sections to show back in the flat section. In the flat section, riders shall be shown as a group at the walk, trot and canter both directions of the ring. No martingales allowed in the flat section. If necessary, the judge at his discretion, may ask for tests 1-13 of the top four riders. Only one rider per horse. All eligible INHJA members may enter this class at each INHJA approved show regardless of previous wins. Classic class system points shall be awarded for this class to six places.
CLASS 35 Ariat National Adult Medal Class Entry Fee $30.00
Open to all Amateur Members of the USEF and CEF who are eligible to compete in the Adult Amateur Hunter Section at this show. Effective December 1, 1997: A rider may not compete at the same horse show in any hunter or equitation class in which the jumps exceed three feet, three inches. To be shown over a minimum of eight fences 2'9" to 3’ in height, spread not to exceed fence height. The course may be either a Jumper or Hunter type course and must include at least two changes of direction and a combination. Water obstacles (i.e.; water jump, liverpool) are not permitted. The top four riders are required to perform at least two individual tests from USEF Test 1-19. An Open Numerical Scoring System must be used in the first round, with each rider’s score announced at the completion of their round. There is no minimum requirement to fill the class.
CLASS 36 INHJA MEDAL Class Entry Fee $30.00
Open to all junior and amateur riders who are current members of the INHJA (application for INHJA membership may be made at any approved INHJA show). Riders will first be required to show over a course of no less than 8 obstacles, of which 6 must be set at the maximum height of 3’3”. The course must include one change of direction (change of lead) and one combination including an oxer. The judge shall select a minimum of eight (8) riders, if available, from the over fences section to show back in the flat section. No martingales allowed in the flat phase. In the flat section, riders shall be shown as a group at the walk, trot and canter both directions of the ring. If necessary, the judge, at his discretion may ask for test 1-19 of the top four (4) riders. Only one rider per horse. All eligible INJHA members may enter this class at each INHJA approved show, regardless of member’s previous wins. Increment class system points shall be awarded for this class.
